Chalet Hotel Bel Alpe Morzine

We have returned from a weeks skiing and staying at the Bel'Alpe. A few lines in a short review could not do this charming hotel justice but from the central location to the excellent food and friendly attentive staff, you would do a lot worse than booking here. The decor in the public areas is quirky but tastefully done (although the grand piano is desperately in need of tuning). There is a drying room in the basement along with a sauna, table tennis table and pool table. Comfortable, clean rooms that are more than adequate. Dinner each night was five courses and the quality and presentation were very good. Overall, we found the Bel'Alpe to be a great place to stay...

What a super hotel this is!!! It is centrally located so 5 minute walk to the lifts and the food was just excellent!!! Five courses every night which was fab after a whole day skiing. We were very well looked after by all the staff (myself,partner and Dad) and We cannot recommend this highly enough. We stayed at the Hotel Bel Alpe at the end of Feb/early March and cannot rate it highly enough. The family room was lovely and spacious with bath and shower, balcony, bunk beds for the kids, big double bed for us. It was cleaned and tidied every day immaculately, no matter what state we left it in to get out on the slopes. Even the kids teddies were placed with care on their pillows every day. The hotel is not 5 star luxury but is super duper cosy and has a real Alpine feel and the ski room is the best I've seen in any other hotel...

We have just returned from our second stay in this wonderful hotel. The location is great- halfway between the two two main lifts and an easy walk to both. The hotel itself is cosy, clean very traditional. The staff are absolutely lovely - cheery, helpful and well organised. Bel Alpe is very accessible to Morzine's centre and is only a short (5 minutes) walk to the resort's ski lifts. The owner and her staff are a delight. Breakfast is varied and fulsome; evening dinner is five excellent courses with the opportunity to request a departure from the very good set menu, subject to notice at breakfast...

Francoise and her team welcome you to this delightful hotel just a few minutes walk away from the Pleney lift. A very well kep hotel with beautiful decor, lovely bedrooms, very warm and the most fluffy towels I have ever had on a skiing holiday. Five course evening meal is wonderful - you must give this hotel a try. We will be back.
